Instead of walking away and doing Nike a favor, make them lay you off. Make sure they pay you if they want to get rid of you so badly. Quitting now only serves the interests of those at the top, definitely not yours. Why would you leave good money on the table if you don't have to?

Best thing is make them fire you, that makes the process painful for everyone and eats up resources and burns lots of bridges. I did that and can’t be happier, took them like 6 months to do it. I would just do enough to make the benchmark, just slack off for another month and get back on action plan.
Sure it was a little bit stressful for me but I wanted everyone in my department to feel the pain.
Maybe because if you’ve been here long enough you know our best days are behind us and you may not be lucky enough to get laid off and get severance. Phase 1 survivors have more work, demotions, and outlook is grim for the company.
