Can't believe Kermit the Frog Kubasik is still around. Since his affair at his previous employer, he continues to slather the BS to anyone who will listen. Just look at our stock price the lasts 4 years since he "blessed us" with his presence. No one would hire this guy, vote all of our BoD's out of "office". Even two wars won't impact our financials, just look at the stock performance of our competitors. More cuts are coming.......
Not very often that you hear about corporate-wide layoffs. Yeah maybe one sector that is doing poorly, or an underperforming division, but why make across-the-board cuts? Maybe this is another case where they over-hired and now they are seeing the reality.
Lockheed Martin also announced some company-wide layoffs in the past month or two... Kubasik still emulating his old corporate origins.
Not surprising at all given the fact that that most programs are over budget and years late. Sh---y bids and pi-s poor management cost people their jobs.
This is part of the plan to get 85% employee engagement. I am sure it will work. Nothing says engaged like wondering if you are going to lose your job!
I left LHX last year sensing this cut was inevitable. I was a strategic hire who had been there only a few years. Even left a large retention package on the table, and do not regret it.
Bill Brown destroyed the soul of what had been world class businesses. Literal “Brown nosers” assisted with the fleecing. Kubasik has carried on the milk the cow teets dry mentality, smiling his way to the bank. LHX is going the way of the buffalo. They’ve been low bidding on work they are not prepared to execute because they refuse to invest a penny in true R&D, and it gets a GM or VP their next quick promotion and eventual ticket to jump to Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, etc. to go share their incompetence with those companies while taking a big pay raise.
I am literally on vacation next week. Anxiety is crazy rn☹️
It is true that some managers did not know this was coming. I and my direct above did not know one of my people was being cut. Came from much higher up. I would put money on the outside auditor that has been around
The email made it sound like that is it for 2024. 2025 on the other hand is subject to another round.
Don’t let the manager tell you he did not know what’s going on it’s corporate. I was a manager and was let go. I have a totem pole of my staff I have to submit I did it to my people indirectly. They did it to me
Long Island locations of L3harris all the employees let go where over 60 with 25 to 43 years of service to the company . Company in trouble due to over paying for rocketdyne.
Also all internships have been canceled though out L3harris due to cost.
They may not make the quarter earnings watch the stock price.
we know between 30 and 50 non-union people here in Clifton. but we haven't heard who yet.
Also heard the RIFs are done after today. Started around 10 am Est when one of my team in IT was cut

I was delivered the same message about all the cuts being completed today. I don't know if that was just for our organization, or the whole company.
I just read the email. So today was not it, there will be more coming?
Our senior director had a meeting with us today and said we were good (we did lose some people).
Anxiety is super high at this point.
