Has anybody heard about the new accounting program coming to the retail stores and supposedly the stores won’t need a full time accounting person anymore…any Truth to this??

Yay lets give all the invoices to the scanning department to do! Block the accounting managers on all access to invoices! Make it make sense. Scanning barely gets their work done. Guess accounting just stocks shelves after the basic work is done.

I think we need to bring back month long ads only. My store did so well with month long ads. The company had record sales doing month long ads. Please bring back only one ad all month.

I haven’t heard about that. Have you heard about doing ads on the first & 15th of the month??? How stupid is that?? Our ad committee has lost its ever loving mind!

Well they still need deposits done and atms filled. Balance registers and get everything ready in the mornings before opening. You can't just have some random person doing it. Centralized accounting will make much less sense now. Accounting in the store can do the little things they do.

I'd bet that it's not required due to the new ERP system coming in.. Nothing more, nothing less.

Replacing us as much as possible with the workers in India. I won't be surprised when centralized accounting is fully there. AP basically is already....opening the India center was an IT sham to replace their American workforce
