My buddy got into a car accident recently ( rear ended a semi) and will be out for at least 9 months. He is worried about being PIPed in this round because he will not be able to do his own PDS.

I know a sls that tried to fire a lady with cancer because she missed too much work. These folks no longer have any compassion. She was from Malaysia so maybe that’s how they roll over there but she was one ruthless and brutal =**%#}{. She is still thriving and continues to te--orize employees today. Don’t count on any compassion from Exxonmobil. The clown saying there’s an underlying issue is likely a supervisor. That’s BS
Several years ago I knew someone who got PIP’d while on paternity leave. This company has no shame whatsoever.
Never put anything past these azzez
I would suspect that there is something underlying their fear of being PIP'ed other than not being able to write their own PDS. It's not the PDS that gets a person PIP'ed. It's how well the supervisor portrays them in a 2 minute verbal summary of their accomplishments, behaviors and development opportunities coupled with the other supervisors jockeying to get their direct reports to the top categories. Usually, if a person is NSI'ed, the supervisors already pre determined that in a pre-assessment that they are told not to perform.
A few years ago, I injured my hand at work and had trouble typing. Even went to medical to confirmed it. My supervisor wanted me to take pictures of my desk as documentation it was somehow my fault and started questioning me about my off hours activities, inferring I should claim this is an off work sports injury.
Wow, so much caring. Never did she suggest I should modify my work so I can heal.
She is still around terrorizing employees. Example of caring.
They pip’d a girl on maternity leave so yes anything’s possible
He is pip fodder. You're asking if this company has compassion? hahahahahaahaa
This is so sad. And telling. I freaking hate this place.
I'm sorry he was in an accident.
Does he not have a company issued laptop where he can do the deed? Or just not capable?
I wish him the best.
