I experienced this in home lending, they had documented conversations and witnesses to verbal conversations and I was made to feel like I was some sort of baby by finally raising my hand. No action, ultimately I left a job I liked because they thought it was appropriate to leave me under the guy who continued the behavior after they wiped their hands.
HR was only interested in documenting to cover the company; absolutely no positive intervention came of the escalation.
Yes, there are loyal employees, but unfortunately there are no loyal employers. And, if you are a millennial or a iGen/ Gen Z you know nothing about loyalty, other than spelling it or owning a mirror. Most people worked or stayed at a company, because they liked the work, where challenged and rewarded, like the social interactions. Yes, the money and advancement were incentives, but not the only things that kept someone at in the job so long. But going back to bullying. I saw this happen when managers were put in a tight spot and to reduce head count or their highest earners. ,
There are actually people staying in the same company for that long? Feel bad for those su-kers for not knowing what is ever out there. No wondering why they are so psychologically imbalanced
Oh yeah that's a thing, my boss fired someone who reported them. But then again reporting your boss who has been there for 50 years is kinda stupid..
Seems like anyone who has ever logged a complaint with HR has been laid off eventually...hmmm
12 years at chase as a top performer. I was all of a sudden being bullied by manager for being neurodivergent. I complained to HR and code of conduct. They opened investigations and found no wrong doing. I had evidence. They protect bad managers. Then I was retaliated against and conveniently laid off.
I was apart of the Feb 2023 layoff and was 100% being bullied by my manager. I was never given an exit interview but threw her under the bus on my exit survey and HR did reach out to clarify
I reported to a female manager in the Tempe office. Out of my 12 years at JPMC this was the absolute worst team and management I had experienced. I was laid off February 2023 and it was the best thing that happened. When I left another team member left on their own in her exit interview she laid out everything. I did the same in my exit interview. HR opened a case but from what I can see nothing happened as the 4 major bullies are still employed in the same position.
Bullying on my team is beyond normal you can’t even get up and do your job as a normal person without someone keeping track of you or what your doing more less take a day off and come back and feel guilty for taking the day off! It’s horrific to work in such team or environment!
This is why hr is pretty much anonymous. They stay hidden so you can’t confront their bs on how they do things
The bullying on Chase HL on my team is beyond ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder if they aren’t afraid they’ll get reported to the EEOC.
Bruh
HR is not there for employees but to cover Chase’s A$$! Seen this happen to a peer and the retaliation when her Manager found out was absurd and extremely cruel, she eventually got laid off! BS!
Without this HR would not have a job
