Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Exit early

If I find a new job sooner than the two-month extended period on the payroll, can I exist early and still retain the severance package?

Wouldn’t this be a problem in the background check as it would state that you are still employed with the company. Have seen this being captured in the background checks if the payroll is not closed

100%. I was fortunate enough to do that when I was let go in 2020. I don’t update anything on LinkedIn until I received my severance (no that I think that mattered).

You're not working, right? You were locked out of your accounts and your laptop will be returned. Work a new job as soon as you can and want to.

Just go work the other gig and collect the Nike money. What’s the problem?

Why wouldn't you just keep both?

Take as much as you can get.
