"Gold Standard." AT&T is rolling the members. They are contracting out work on a mass scale. They are reducing the work force with impunity. Contracts are negotiated in terms of what we are willing to lose. AT&T now reducing work further with the their national plan to exit the copper plant.
More like copper standard.
Never said union guarantees everyone a job. But pretty much every employee with 20 plus years has gold standard job security language. Now go back to crying about working from an office instead of your couch.
Come to the Bay Area, plenty of work here
Burger King not going to hire AT&T workers. Way too much bad attitude.

Says the non bargained employee facing RTO, or the coming layoff after RTO.
Isn't fun to disparage AT&T employees that make 50K a year?
The sweet spot is when AT&T realizes that AT&T needs so, so many less "managers".
AT&T will will go to $19.00, AT&T is starting to figure this out. Long past due.
Are the 120 DTV from west contract? San Diego had 150 dtv techs to begin, now dwindled to 30. Lousy local President.
$4.50 probably in a span of 4 years and then they’re gonna raise our healthcare cost to compensate . Same ol’ same ol’
This is not possible.
Because some tool bag will on this forum keeps telling us all that the union guarantees him a job.

I hear that some of the at&t executive meetings are encouraging technicians to quit & work for McDonalds who will pay $25 ph in California. And can you imagine if that Dem got her way & fry cooks now receive $50 ph. All AT&T employees would create a stampede getting out the door to work at Burger King.
That’s how unions and minimum wage laws work. You eliminate some jobs and redistribute their wages among the rest
How much was management bonuses again? These guys aren’t hardly making a living wage.
Still Poverty level wages
