It’s horrible where corporate treatment of workers brought us. We all feel cornered. Cost of living, mortgage, chains imposed by all kinds of debt, gave power to corporations to treat us as disposable items. We are happy when we see someone but not us being laid off, we distance ourselves from those in need as if being laid off is a disease, and in the end we feel ashamed for all the above because the vast majority of us are normal human beings. If we can not preserve our dignity as workers, we are not free.

I’m not happy seeing people get laid off nor am I distancing myself from anyone. That’d be crazy in these circumstances. This wasn’t performance based
