I worked in Tax & Accounting. The person who pointed out that when Reuters started taking over the slope got steep. Getting rid of people who knew the business and replacing them with corporate hacks wasn't a smart move. I'm still in the tax business and to keep customers they are going to have to do something drastic... SOON!

Support mhmm the biggest issue at least for me is that when you want to develop your knowledge /understanding on the different product you will face this terrible principal consultants who are treating you like a sh.t, putting their nose up and not being able to go into constructive discussions to understand your point of view and explain the product logic...seems they are very weak but at the same time very agressive attitude. Huge dissapointment on how they work....but it only shows how insecure they are if someone comes up with different questions. If they think they will block someone to grow haha watch me and I will show you very soon how lost you are 🤣

Once Thomson bought Reuters and allowed Reuters to be calling the shots, it started going downhill. It was very predictable that there was going to be layoffs because there were so much job duplications, but Thomson, and before that RIA had a heart and was a wonderful place to work in.

I enjoyed working for TR until taking redundancy in 2017. My 10 years were happy and I was always well supported in my job.

However I did notice things were starting to turn when I took the package.
Since I left it’s all been about increasing the share price and taking whatever steps are required to that including the multi billion share buy backs rather than investing that money in the company.
