For those in higher up circles, what is management doing or saying to address the morale problem? The trust issue was asked to MW and it was alluded its all due to WFH. Everyone knows this isn't true. Do they even care?

A generation has been brought into the work force who think if they don't like something or someone "mommy " will make it alright....sorry a corporation is not your Mommy and you need to toughen up the real world is a tough place.
You people have all gone soft. It was 100x worse 20 years ago. The bosses were openly vicious to us all. It was like the army - shut up and get the work done or get sacked. Now kids cry if they have to show up at work a couple days per week and sit in a meeting.
Management doesn't care, they are collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions from their LTIP.
If the bad morale starts effecting the business like it already has with more injuries and less productivity then executive management should care.
They definitely don’t give a sh-t about morale as we have seen they have bought up REG just to close the older biodiesel plants and focus on renewable diesel. Hang on for the ride and get your money. Be a quiet quitter and just do your assignments. They don’t care about you or your life so why care about them.

Companies only care about morale if they think it will hurt earnings. This typically occurs due to loss of high value employees to competitors. Its clear Chevron is not worried about this. If you are unhappy working at Chevron, you have two options: su-k it up or find another job. Whining to executives is not going to change anything.
Here we go again with the morale meme. Management doesn't care about your morale, complaints, problems or ideas. They only care whether you are doing your job. If not, you will and can be replaced. It su-ks but that is how it works.
Management doesn't have a morale problem. They are pretty happy with things. They just want the lazy staff to start showing up to the office and actually working.
The only focus management has right now is on RTO dashboards. Lots of LT time on this instead of real Ops. Performance Goals now must include % compliance of being in office Tuesday to Thursday otherwise no EE. Morale thus is expected to improve as you sit in your cube.
When your total compensation is tied to stock price, employee morale comes behind market morale.
You do not need to work in any company if you are not happy. The executives only care for shareholders and their job is to protect and grow stock value/dividend. Sometimes their strategy does not help regular employee and if you feel you are not happy you should find job elsewhere.
