Obviously a narcissistic sociopath. No wonder "her" and Mo are close. Two peas in a pod. Eh.. if he-l exists, they both will be very warm. To the admin: bring ice.

Someone should do a side by side with him talking at all hands. The juxtaposition of the two JDs would be pretty striking to watch.

if we take him at his word at around 30 minutes in - sounds like he's overdue for a performance review from the BOD.

I’ve been working on leaving since the last set of layoffs were announced. Kids will be moving schools this summer then I’m cutting the last string.

I can no longer wear this brand. This guy is nuts. Last week’s all hands almost made me resign. This week watching VPs and SDs swirl in fear as to how changes will impact them, then watching this douche gloat about his incompetence has lead me to one thing … I will resign within 6 months.

Nike has many great people but our leaders su-k as a whole. At one point he equates his role as CEO to that of a GOD to the employees of the company

Gets rid of 7.5 people hired with in 5 years. Dude you su-k at hiring. Someone needs to explain to you the cost of onboarding people as well as the cost around losing knowledge. J.D. rethink this. If you focus on hiring good people it will save the company money and produce better product. You are a 1 trick pony. Something going south … fire people and hire new people to buy time till people figure out you have no clue what you are doing. In the real world we call this a diversion lol.

PK and MP don’t buy this cr-p the company is not in good shape and accountability start with you two, so by Jd’s logic how you need to show accountability is to fire him. Remember our slogon is not “ Just don’t stop”. It’s Just Do it ….. so Just Do it

Employee here, I’ve been following this board since the announcements in December. I too was extremely disappointed in JDs meeting last week and the direction of Nike in general as of late. That being said, JD has good advice in this video and it actually helped me understand more of what’s going on.

There are plenty of problems at Nike but this particular video is not among them. Detach emotionally from this difficult time, what did he say that was wrong?

Upgrading and investing in only 20% of his team. Nice.

Packing my proverbial bags, making the needed preparations, then I’m OUT. I can do better than this place. (Been @ Nike nearly 20 years)

This is so gross! There is a reason why the board hired him. So incredibly sad! We should replace him with AI

Just look at the giddy happiness he has in firing people. Sociopath is correct. The role playing takes it to a disturbing level….

This is narcissistic insecurity. Reveling in the pain of others due to your internal unhappiness and insecurity.

Pretty revealing into this sociopath's brain activity or lack there of. Talks about “empathy” and being a “servant leader” with all the emotion of a Roomba. The callous way he talks about firing people proves he has zero empathy or remorse for any of the damage he has done or yet to inflict. PK was quick to fire the guy from Johnson & Johnson how in the f-c* has this piece of dog waste not been fired yet?

Omg, that totally explains the amount of long tenure great Nike people who have all suddenly “retired” within the last 6-12 months! That process might work in tech where all businesses are relatively new but in an old company like Nike the long tenure people are the ones who survived all that cr-p early on, so they are the best people and the ones who just get what Nike is at it’s core! JD is ruining a culture and ripping the heart out of the company! I had long tenure and was booted when things were “centralized” which never works! It always impacts the people running the day to day of the business that pay for him to fly around in his private jet! JD is destroying a once great company and it’s going to take a long long time to recover which is really sad.

Thanks for putting it up, again. Someone in the other thread recommended putting the URL on a QR code and posting it around campus. Not saying I'd do that, but does sound interesting....
