Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Asking for time off.

Why is it so hard to approve time off? Isn't that part of a manager's job?

If u put in a PTO 3 weeks in advance, it should never be rejected. If it has, call the HR for ur region.. problem solved. Trust me!!

I've got 79 nine hours combined from last year and this. Every time I put in for a day off I get denied. The only way I can get a day off is to put in a request for unpaid time for a medical issue.

Requests for time off is left pending for months. How long do they have to approve or deny request?

We got a manager from a different area. They are disrespectful to associates and members. They deny any time off request.
