Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Lider Maximus

Kubasic, how are you man? Or thoughts are going to you now. How do you manage to stretch the 19.5 million/yr salary? Did at least the shares you sold help a bit? Rest assured we are fine, we haven’t sold our souls to the Devil. Stay strong, our leader.

Hopefully he gets investigated by authorities to prove he didn’t do insider trading- if he can. A little help to reach media and make him a rock star wouldn’t hurt either, he loves interviews.

Yes, not a good sign since Wall Street usually loves layoffs. Earnings report should be interesting........

Notice how zero of this has been mentioned in national level reporting. Only a few local news outlets. And L3 Harris is basically providing zero specifics when asked by these local news outlets. As of today the stock value doesn’t appear to be impacted one way or the other by this apparently massive layoff.

I would have thought WSJ and other financial news sources would have been all over this event!

When did he sell his shares? Before he let everyone go? Then watched stock drop? Isn’t that insider trading? Thought that was illegal? Who else sold because they knew we were having a massive layoff? Asking for a friend

The term "Maximum Leader" (Spanish: Líder Máximo) has been used by, or to describe, a number of politicians, including:

Fidel Castro, Cuban revolutionary and political leader (1959–2008); the title is not utilised in Cuba
Omar Torrijos, Panamian dictator (1968–1981); recognised as "Maximum Leader of the Panamanian Revolution" in the 1972 Constitution of Panama
Manuel Noriega, Panamian dictator (1983–1989); the title was officially given to him in 1989 by the National Assembly of Panama
Massimo D'Alema, Italian prime minister (1998–2000); the title was chiefly used humorously in the media
