Seems like, OP means - wf doesn't have Branch banking presence!
I just try to find Branch Banking location in Columbus, but they don't have any.

It’s for technology.
They add hubs close to competitors’ hubs so they can trade talent. It’s a business strategy for a specialized workforce.this is not a new concept - WF is late to the game.
That’s why Irving is being built too. A competitor has a hub nearby.
Bunch of long tenured (10+ years) JPMC Columbus networking folk 'recently' moved to WF from due to 'reasons'. Brain drain from JPMC started two-three years ago due to management changes.
JPM has a huge center there in Polaris outside of Columbus. Since WF seems enamored by JPM it’s monkey see monkey do. TK does not realize Columbus is just as expensive as Charlotte and has smarter people than her .
A lot of CSBB people too
It’s because one of TK’s buddies is based out of there and all of a sudden it’s a core hub. Her buddy barely came on board and now he’s building his empire there!
OP “Wells Fargo doesn’t have a presence there!”
Also OP “did something happen Monday? It got dark like some storm clouds passed over!”
By presence, do you just mean CSBB? Because WIM and CB are very active in OH.
JPM Chase has a presence there (via their acquisition of BankOne). A lot of WFC execs are from JPM Chase.
It'll be like a big family reunion.
