Gotta be soon.

As usual, we'll find out about it from the news.
F-series guy says that it would be the week of April 29th. We follow what Tesla does anyway so that may not be far from truth.
July/Aug is my guess.
@1rhk This cannot be upvoted enough....perfectly describes the situation in IVI.
The brainless copy cats will follow tesla
April 27th is on a Saturday this year.
I think Model E is going to see a reduction. Just don’t need that many people to sell 80-100k units per year. The business scaled up too quick with tons of headcount and LL5+ roles. Teslas recent announcement and position as most profitable EV maker probably helps leadership rationalize it
Probably soon targeting model e
@1rhk, you must work in IVI with me. It is brutal.
I'd like to know what department the people that are claiming Ford is overstaffed work in. I have more work than I can technically do completely and correctly. I literally jump from fire to fire because open positions have been unfilled, AND YET, management continues to find ways to create positions for certain other managers that consist of work already completed by other corporate teams. The people that actually produce are overloaded with work while management is plentiful. We literally have GSR's reporting to 2 or 3 different managers, many of which hold positions that were created for them. I'm to the point that I hate taking a day off out of concern of what I'll return to, and everyday is a new fire drill.
It will be some Tuesday.
All the signs are pointing to it being very soon.
It’s long overdue. We are overstaffed, the ax is coming. Worst management as a result of few bad people at the top promoting their buddies over the years and here we are. They know it too..
IMHO, the people's objective called "talent review", and due in July, is very telling. That review is to do the lists of who's staying and who's going away. So I agree with @1opz+1s31oTE1 in the July/August time frame.
F150 Guy keeps saying it will be "next week". Maybe if he keeps saying it, he'll eventually be right?
"So why would they consider scaling down the seating?"
I think it's more likely that scaling down will be the result of fewer people returning to office versus significantly less people employed even though I do expect a reduction of 1k US at some point this year.
Recently when asked if we will get assigned seating, it was said nope we will be hoteling - the benefit that was mentioned, was, it would enable scaling the seating up and down based on needs.
So why would they consider scaling down the seating?
Probably April 27th like 2022.
Can they wait that long? Looks like they are sinking fast.
My guess is around July/August time frame.
