Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Layoff letters today? (April 18th)

Layoffs are supposed to happen on the 3rd full week of every month .. which is this week. Has anyone received any layoff letters today?

If you’re a T stock holder, vote “Against” every S-B BOD member because they are all complicit along with Stankey in destroying this once great American iconic corporation. Stankey is lining their pockets with loads of graf to keep him in power and he along with Randle Stephenson have run this company into the ground! Shame on them, get him out!

Recognition and money award 18 months ago for quality work; surplussed in April. "You're smart and productive but we can buy Smart cheaper overseas", lol. Good luck, life goes on and family/health #1. Also, to my management and union co-workers; same big team and same concerns. Chicago

FYI: "I really hope to be laid off.” is NOT a
Troll. I just want to get paid to leave and retire.

Not sure why the word hasn't spread on this, but R.A. letters for management are generally the third Friday of the month. This changes on occasion, due to holidays, shorter months, etc., but is pretty predictable. The remainder of 2024 should be 19 April, 23 May, 25 June, 24 July, 26 August, 25 September, 23 October, and 24 November.

Everyday is layoff day at AT&T. Stink is a shill for Larry Fink and Claus Schwab - WEF sell outs taking US taxpayer dollars for network build out. Pathetic.

Major moves being made to Robertson org - it’s going to be ugly. Buckle up announcements coming soon.

For what it’s worth. the date on the surplus calendar is 4/19. I heard that during his town hall yesterday Sambar said no significant surpluses are planned for his org this year.

You don’t get severance for resigning.

Declining to move isn’t a layoff. This is a resignation with severance.

Found the Dallas know it all. You clearly did not get a relo letter because it very clearly states that if you do not agree to relocate you will be designated surplus at some point, aka laid off. It never states that you are considered as resigning.
