I was laid off February 29th 2024, 7 weeks ago. I still have not received any unemployment. I also requested to have the Pension Packet and have not received that either. Is this happening to anyone else?

I requested paperwork 4 weeks ago, and it still says on the website it will be mailed within two weeks. Ugh. No wonder customers hated us. Complete disrespect.
"Over 8 weeks now and not a thing.. what the h_%^&/ is going on??"
When you call they won't tell you anything either. They are blaming volume and the complexity of the restriction. Just XRX being XRX. The lady said is there anything else I can help you with? I said you didn't help at all... Following a process, no actual knowledge.

Pension packet printing has been on hold due to no product in house can print a quality packet. The former copier king is taking bids from other copier companies for packet printing.
Did you request your pension package? It's not automatic. I requested mine 3/15 and got a call that it was mailed out 4/15.
Pension Packet.. maybe we will get it next year?? AND it looks like not a thing we can do about it:( .. I hope this gets in the News..
Unemployment is through your state and you have to file. If you got some type of package, you may not be able to file right away but since the new severance is a lump sum and 2 weeks medical, you should be clear to file through your local unemployment office. I think it took them a month to pay out my vacation. You should also email the askxeroxhr address. They were actually pretty helpful once they responded. I think they have a 7 day TAT or something. I don't remember if that's the exact email address, but if you are not having luck through the phone number on the lifeportal for the pension package, you can try to do a "contact us" through that website.
I heard some finally got theirs this week.
Not sure about the pension packet however when i retired 4 years ago I also had to "hound" the India people to get anything done.
As far as unemployment (at least in Illinois) you have to apply for it yourself. Xerox has nothing to do with unemployment short of answering the question when they ask whether you quit on your own or were terminated. And Xerox has been known to lie about that also to save themselves money. As long as you keep the papers your manager gave you concerning when you were laid off that is evidence enough for the unemployment people
Same for me. Called the 800# a bunch of times but they are just reading from a script. They do not seem to have the ability or permission to provide any info.
