I've seen a lot of chatter regarding UHG/Optum having layoffs. I've also seen the last day for layoffs is May 2nd; Is this a rumor? Anyone knows if the layoffs are still happening actively?

Layoffs are a permanent part of the company’s management strategy. This place is really struggling.
Nope expect Sandeep to ship as many jobs to India as he can
second thursday of the month is when the kn--e usually falls its been the pattern for years and never stops. If you are part of a company that has been bought you are instantly a target.
this will continue for optum in waves over the course of this year
they give the effected people 2 weeks' notice. layoffs happened 04/18 and their last day will be 05/02.
