Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Managers surplused?

I heard that some managers (real managers) have been laid off recently?
I heard some were from ATS Organization under Irene Shannon. Is this true?

Bottom line, make sure you have a chair when the music stops!
Don't make it more complicated than it is.

They all know they have no work.

Poster is C-Suite material!

This is true. We have no work. I do nothing but sit in my truck surfing the web. Please surplus us so I can take the ESB.

Hate to break it to you but the bargained HC has been thinned drastically, for over a decade.

The person you're responding to is a troll or out of touch pencil pusher who hasn't stepped foot into a work yard. Probably the same bootlicker who's trolling RTO managers and D9 union people.

Hate to break it to you but the bargained HC has been thinned drastically, for over a decade. In my area alone there are only 5 outside crews left out of the original 11. The Locals HC went from over 1,200 members to just a little over 400 now, in less than 10 years. It’s due to technology improvements, poor business decisions and poor customer service after a majority was sent overseas or automated.

It’s easy to surplus managers. At some point, this company will realize there are LOTS of bargained for employees that aren’t needed. If we’re thinning the herd, let’s do it already. They all know they have no work.

No. Only fake managers were laid off.
