Mid Market Real Plan

What is the plan for Reorg? They are not backfilling any of the open roles. Are we truly getting reorged? IE bigger territories? With so many people off the books I assume so. My fear is they would give some of the modules to SPs. I would like real comments here, not infantile banter for children.

" I’ve worked with several in the NY area that left T on their own , started the SP. Two of them are ranked in the Top 5% of all SP’s in the channel."

Please tell me you are not referring to Five Star? Mike and Jim are two shady individuals and are being investigated by Asset Protection for various questionable practices.

The plan has and always will be to go to market like Cisco. Indirect sales partners which cost the company 70% less than an average fully loaded T resource. It makes financial sense and frankly with the amount of highly questionable sales reporting they have nothing to lose. As for the SP’s being filled with T rejects, I’ve worked with several in the NY area that left T on their own , started the SP. Two of them are ranked in the Top 5% of all SP’s in the channel.

The real plan is 1. Test 2. Tweak 3 Full send. Direct sales teams are simply place holders until the Alliance channel can scale up. How long that takes there's no telling. JVB and Shelley have been moving Cor stores to Authorized retail for a decade. Plan is to do the same thing here. What could go wrong putting your customers in the hands of Alliance? It's not filled with folks fired for COBC's and T rejects or anything. But in the meantime yall MidMarket sellers take these ridiculous quotas and pressure for something we simply know you can't accomplish. After all the goal is to fire you for doing something d-mb to get to the number or coach you out and don't backfill. Allowing them to not have to pay a severance.

I’m not in a position to know, but when the business and solution provider channels merged that was a telling sign in my opinion.

It would not surprise me if that channel does not eventually land in a final resting place where the few number of employees left are all lower paid Account Managers (not really sales) paid almost entirely on TBR and in charge of contract renewals / life cycle support, and that really most of the sales/selling and higher compensation related items are handled by SP’s.

First, second and yes they can.

Now that is out of the way, logic dictates that reorg is a high probability but until it is approved and disseminated, who really knows. We all work in a fluid environment these days, change is inevitable, even if they give some modules to SP’s. From various internal and financial meetings that leadership has spoken, they have at least two more years to work their plan of restructuring the whole corporation. That is why they have said, nobody is safe.

So hope and pray for the best but expect the worst. Always be prepared, have a plan A, B and C, it helps to relieve some of the stress and anxiety of the uncontrollable.

No roles will be backfilled. Remaining managers have been approved to work overtime moving forward.
