All of this digital transformation, DEI, ESG spewage is 100% political -- it drives close to 0% new business and stops any type of merit based growth in its tracks. The truth is this "progressive" groupthink results in the opposite of positive progress --- witness the absolute tragedy of the patron city of Cisco, San Francisco. It is a microcosm of what this thinking has done to erode the United States, Cisco, and anything that is decent, good, and positive. But those promoting this can't see beyond their bank account; there is a refusal to acknowledge the utter failure of these policies.

All you need to know is that Chuck is on the Board of Directors of Blackrock, as was the prior CEO. That has a tendency to grease the skids.

The next time you support a leader of any organization, think about what they value before you put much energy into it.

Most commenters to this site should be laid off for being insufferable whiners.

This question pops-up every once and awhile. There are rules somewhere in the footer, and some posts do get deleted, but never because of one’s sentiment towards Cisco.
Long story short, here is what isn’t allowed/gets nuked be site mods:

  • -names, personal info of any kind (execs=public figures, names ok)
  • insults/bullying/harassing/racism/too many f-words
  • politics/religion

Think that’s about it.

[Why are you so concerned? Instead of using your energy to search out and reread negative comments on this website, why not use it to make the most of your current role, or use it to find a new job!]

I would love to use my energy to find a new job but unfortunately I do not even get an interview because the job market is so tough with hundreds of applicants for each job. it is unfortunate that many talented employees have nothing better to do than to be negative and vent in this space. Your turn will come soon!

Maybe Cisco is paying to Layoffs.com and Glassdoor.com to remove negative comments.
