Multiple emails today from management indicating a low participation rate ,by department , regarding the WAEM survey with “encouragement” for the teams to participate.

Stopped doing these surveys years ago. They are just tools to justify a predetermined outcome. Like a “free” election under a dictatorship.
In a typical XOM behavior, leadership cares more about completing the survey to say later: look how many participated therefore this matters. But the truth is everyone pretends. Some pretent to care, others that it matters, others that they actually seriously care and act on the feedback. Just replace they and someone with I and me above and realize the truth!
I just love how the survey puts the onus back on the employees for making things better instead of the MC who are making all the ridiculous decisions that are driving the company into the ground. It’s like punching someone in the nose then acting all concerned. “Oh no! What are we going to do about all this blood?”
I thought it was a great attempt at getting feedback. Questions like, “On a scale from Amazing to Fabulous, how do you rate the company leadership?”
Nothing will change. The system has rewarded the few who believe that the system works great because it identified them. Why would they change a system that has obviously worked so well?
The survey could have been a change agent. Now it’s just a confirmation bias that the MC are awesome. it is absolutely useless and has now value.
Survey says!!!!: “Everything is super duper awesome with the exception of a few inconsequential thingys and we’re going to flog over worked supervisors to solve these problems”
EM is like dictatures, where the only way to show your frustration is refusing to take part in rigged elections.

We can't track (promise) your IP address and cull out those of you that aren't viewing everything through rose colored glasses.
So happy they are expending so many resources on marketing a survey that really has no value for the people being surveyed. Go pound sand, DW
It is not anonymous because it knows when I tried a second time that I had already submitted.
Indirectly they can trace who did not complete the survey.
They know what needs to be changed. Since 2018 in those town hall meetings they know. The only change they made was due to Covid and the war on fossil fuels. A lot of deadwood floating around that no one wanted to PIP out back then. Pioneer enjoy.

What kinda question is are you putting the company's goals ahead of your own teams' goal?
If that's the case, they really should revisit the type of personality they target to hire in interviews.
I'm not filling in a propaganda laden management tool for the benefit of them, and of no commiited value to the population. I hope it is low participation.
It's not a job satisfaction survey re--rds. It's a survey to see if you understand waem behaviors.

We have no where to discuss the terrible 401K. Terrible relocation adjustments. Terrible insurance swap we are all about to eat.

That's d-mb. Then, just the managers participate, score everything high, and we have to listen how awesome everything is for another year!
Take the dang thing, score it as low as possible, and watch them all have to waste time making correction plans! I'm hoping to get my site down 10% from last year... watch them spin that.
