Yes, 2018 was 60 weeks pay, STI and 60 weeks medical. I also am hearing lower payout this time, but hadn't heard a specific number.
Heard 3 weekd per year of service, capped at 45. It was 60 weeks in 2018.

If true, add a stipulation that you cannot come back even as a contractor. Too many took the previous package, only to come back basically doing the job they left.

That is not how VSP works. They send an email or a package to targeted/eligible employees to try to entice a certain group to leave. In a rif, they want to lose x amount of people and those people are usually chosen by managers or HR. People may volunteer but that doesn’t mean they will get it. VSP targets a certain group of people. RIF targets a certain number of people.
Maybe this time it is true. No WARN notice issued so no large scale layoff. A WARN notice is Not needed for Voluntary Separation. Let’s see what happens next week, a lot of talk.

I also heard VSP announced in June, off payroll in August. I'm skeptical but there is definitely chatter.
