Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

They are moving to wave 2 of RTO

Haven’t even finished round one with MN yet but HR is already moving forward with mapping for wave 2 hubs and not many people who were mapped as remote will be happy. They want you in the hub.

Attrition is at only 17% and that’s low per HR so they are trying to raise that by forcing us to feel uncomfortable so we quit faster. That’s what they are doing. They need attrition much higher.

If you’re not near a hub eventually they get rid of you. The question is when? That’s what they have been doing at other banks also coordinated by McKinsey.

What are they going to do with all of those in Florida? That’s not one of the hubs. Will they tell them they have to move to be in a hub?

I also heard this and believe it was OH, ATL and Fargo in second wave.

Will remote employees not anywhere near a HUB or client center be dealt with this wave or in later waves?

They can certainly say they want you back in the office but enforcement and follow up is a whole other matter.

Don't forget this is the same useless HR department as before so now you are going to add this new responsibility? It will be too much for them to manage.
