WTX is going on? Every other week I find out another good person is gone. It’s never the lazy or toxic people but the good ones. i didn’t want to see it for a while but now there’s no ignoring the fact that it’s usually someone older than me or darker than me. Are you guys ok? Are they paying you mad cash to go quietly? How is this not discriminatory?

Young inexperienced managers are afraid of the older players. They have no idea how to manage or deal with them and feel threatened.
I definitely think that people over 40 years old and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) are being significantly impacted by the layoffs. I don't know about the gender make up of things but people considered middle aged and/or nonwhites seem to be getting pushed out. Are there about an equal number of women and men being laid off?
the question is not racist. if one of the homes on your street is on fire, you would ask if people in that home are safe. the other homes are not on fire so no need to ask them. hope this logic makes sense.
there is nothing racist about this post. the reality is that some hardcore racism is at play at usb, and that will need to be rooted out. from some of the responses it appears non-pocs are also being attacked.

I'm not "of color", so I can't answer your racist question, man.
I'm a 55 year old white dude and still here (for now).
I’ve noticed the ageism over 40 are being let go. Many races, all good humans in my opinion. The management is just gross.
