Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Trying to determine how much of a con Dell is

I’m trying to determine how much of a con Dell really is. The stock has grown over 100 pts in a year. They have a great AI story and even doubled down on it with nvidia. Although we haven’t seen very much proof. They increased their share dividends. Yet, their revenue is down and they’re laying off like crazy. I mean like absolutely crazy.

From where I’m sitting it’s nothing but a con. It’s financial engineering. I’m interested to hear others thoughts. Maybe I’m missing something.

However when I see companies stock grow over 100 pts in a year, they’re hiring in heavy investment areas not laying people off in droves.
