Yes, RCSA work share people are fixed term. In other words there is a fixed end date for their share status.
I've only heard of that for contractors, not FTEs
Ironically, I just noticed a Sr Manager whose employment type is not “ Regular” but “Fixed Term” . They are not a contractor and working on RCSA. So I was wondering what iy means as well.
Fixed term is analogous to work share - some workers are classified this way.
