VSP 60 Weeks Pay Question

Question on the 60 Weeks pay after your end date of working. Is this 60 weeks paid out all at once, or over the period of your 60 weeks like a regular paycheck every 2 weeks ?

Yes, capped at 60 weeks dammmit. I would have had 102 weeks!! But I’m fine with it.

Curious, was the 3 weeks pay per year capped out at 60 weeks maximum?

Unemployment depends on the state you live in. Never hurts to apply. Vz will not contest.

Disagree with unemployment comment. I took the VSP in 2019 and was granted full unemployment payments in New Jersey.

My understanding is that the Cpmpany is picking up your health care cost for that 60 weeks, so nothing comes out for medical coverage.

If that’s the case, does the separated employee still owe their normal contribution for healthcare premiums, or does it become 100% company paid for 60 weeks?

Lump sum except stock together which is added to your fidelity account 4 weeks after your last day.
