But here comes the crazy part.

Thanks to artificial intelligence, in just 1Q 2024, Klarna:

Cut sales and marketing spending by 11%. 37% of that reduction was due to AI and is equivalent to $10 million in annual savings.

Employed generative AI tools such as Midjourney and OpenAI's DALL-E that saved the company $1.5 million on image production costs.

AI is eating FinTech.

From what I hear internally at Dell, the ultimate goal is to have a Sales Rep who just uses AI as a replacement for their specialty group. Basically, no Server, no Backup and Recovery, no storage specialties etc.

Already here and AI sales reps can generate very good responses to customer questions. You have no idea you’re speaking to an AI sales rep.
