Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Last day notice period May 31 and no paycheck today

I was laid off and my last day for my notice period was May 31st. My first severance check was supposed to be today, but I didn’t get a deposit.

Who do I need to contact?

I was laid off last year and can confirm there is a one week delay (3 weeks total) between your last WARN notice check and your first severance check. You should also receive your PTO payout check separately, just after the last notice check. Still collecting checks every 2 weeks and it's awesome, LOL.

Yes the initial check date is off but regular after that. A year for me.... checks coming to end. Thanks for the free money...no thanks how employees are treated like p-o and the distrust and cut throat policies continue. Employee treated like thrash. Just come to site to keep up on the continuing saga of how the stagecoach rolls. Good luck in getting out and life thereafter... it is much better on one's mental state regardless whichever path is taken.

Good to know. I'm still waiting for my layoff notice, but haven't heard this before.

If you needed to ask questions, I would reach out to HR. There is an employee displacement support #

You'll get it next Friday. I don't know why but there seems to a week delay when bridging from notice period to salary continuation.

I've heard the first severance check takes two weeks past the last regular check. But don't quote me .
