Shame for the hardware buddies of IBM which are struggling, unable to reinvent themselves (INTEL, DELL, cisco) and even disappeared into oblivion (emc, sun micro). Only IBM from the old guard seems to be on path of successfully reinventing itself as an AI company.

IBM even handled RTO much better than Dell. Dell needs to lose its existing leadership from JWC to ISG’s AL to LC Then start fresh.
Dell really should have merged into VMware. The spin was just about making 10s of billions for Silverlake
Senior Leadership at IBM is from Red Hat. Most of the old guard IBMers are no longer in the top slots.
That is one of many things that make IBM different.
