Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

why should DXC do anything for you, you id--ts keep coming to work and doing your job. STRIKE !

The company has failed to invest in it's employees for many years, and now it's stuck. No amount of pay rises or benefits is going to cut it for the majority. It's left everything to go to dust. Most clients will just refresh their IT with other providers, and DXC won't be needed. While we all cry out for pay rises and something better. Deep down we know it's just never going to happen.

Did I understand that correctly?

With the priorities, I understand why the sale is going too badly. If you had written "To show off to customers", I might agree. But you want a better car from DXC because your family needs it? And not because you think it's inappropriate to show off a Mini to customers?

And then it has to be an SUV, and a sedan won't do?

You don’t like t, then find another job. If you can’t then shut the duck up , your being paid what your worth!

Sales that’s one of the major problem with DXC you sell sh-t we can’t deliver in the time frame so DXC pays penalty. We get out of support OSs and you tell the customer we will support it and we can’t

If your in sales then sale what we can deliver and shut the duck up

Boo hoo, I haven't got a car! This is dxc, get real. There are people here who haven't had a pay rise in 20 years!

Everyone wants a pay increase or a fancy job title…but in my family we need a nice car.

DXC literally doesn't care what you 'need', let alone 'want'. btw, nice car. It's better than mine.

The company car scheme that they reintroduced a little while back is a rip off. Just like the one before it.

The reason is the money dxc scrapes off the top for themselves.

The actual cost from the supplier is far less and the insurance insignificant on a fleet.

Much cheaper to go lease something yourself.

The only way it's cheaper is if you go electric... Then the bik rate makes it more attractive but the government has been winding that up too so maybe not any more.

I was told by someone who worked on the partnership with Tusker that the company car scheme is NOT cheaper that in the market.

There are no monetary benefits!

The ONLY benefits are you can return your car if you lose your job without penalties.

It’s like a loan shark model with security, we will charge you extortionate rates but if you can prove you can’t pay it we will let you walk.
