Get used to it. Tech wages will drop as AI becomes more advanced. You will need to know how to use the AI tools to be able to succeed and your compensation will be less since you are doing less if you are able to hold your job at all. This won't be an Intel unique scenario. If you are already shopping for a new job are you getting offers that exceed the pay you are b-tching about? Not likely. Hope you didn't accrue huge student loan debt because it is going to be harder to pay it back going forward.

Are you d-mb op? Company having loses and you are thinking you should get more pay?

You don't deserve more pay since you cannot clear interviews anywhere else

No money, no pay.
It isn’t rocket science.
Go elsewhere for more pay.

  1. Because INTC isn't actually making a profit. It hides behind non-GAAP numbers, but the GAAP actuals show operating loss.
  1. ELT is looting the company, they have fat T-Comp, but rank and file ICs can go pound sand.
  1. No money in reserve, why it begged for government handouts and had to raise money via SCIP.

because intel is f--king broke! duh? groveling to governments and private equity doesn't bode well for the financial stability of a company. cancelling the fabs they just announced a few months ago. etc etc etc. they have no money to competitively compensate employees and never will again.

They should fire 50% first, then talk about raise.
