The headset and VDI are the worst part. Even when you follow the instructions about the headset to the letter, it will randomly die during a call and it takes the whole VDI session down with it. Garbage.
VDI is going away
you have to plug the docking station into the hub!!!
I worked at BOA in 2015 and we had VDI, why is WF struggling so badly… Seriously this isn’t new technology
You need to turn your computer on first
I might be the only person at the bank who’s never had a problem with it.
I actually can't wait until most/all are on VDI.
As others have stated, it's going to bring the company to its knees when no one can do anything.
Days/weeks of getting paid to do nothing, while the execs feverishly scramble to secure funding and logistics for getting people real laptops again.
The associated expenditure will mean more layoffs to pay for the executive mistake of using VDI in the first place, but that's how it goes I guess.
just wait until the entire company is using vdi's and can't get any work done because it's down. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket.
Literally every day something goes wrong
