Chuck been on the call for the first 15 minutes rubbing it in everyone's face about all of the travel he is doing, meeting the pope, etc. yet we won't let our sellers travel to their customers to sell business...this ELT is so egotistical it is unbelievable

Cost savings on the whopper probably worth more than the ESPP
Probably don't need to do DEI training either
Sounds like a win
@2iyo+1sdmy77r - I heard Burger King is hiring in your area. No desk required. Sign-on bonus = 5 free BK hats. Check them out.

CR is a classic Cluster B personality disorder case.
It was actually a bit worse during COVID when they sat in their mansions to tell us how tough times were, ...
Yeah, because I was normally an in-office worker w/ an assigned desk and required to badge into the building 80% of the time, I didn't have a "home office" setup, or space to create one. I had a desk for my personal laptop and monitor, but not room for two laptops or a monitor w/ multiple inputs to allow toggling between laptops, so when I was forced to work from home I had to pretty much stop using my personal laptop because that space just became my full-time office space.
Then I'd get to see the ELT sitting in dedicated office spaces within their mansions with no clutter, lots of fancy decor, and space for Webex Desk Pro's in addition to their laptops and I'm thinking about how much housing costs were skyrocketing and what it was going to cost me to buy a newer home w/ an additional room to be a office, or at least one room that was bigger so that I could create an area for a second desk.
Did we get pay raises to pay for our additional real estate needs? Or office furniture? Don't get me started on that measly $300 for a monitor or chair. I've had 3 chairs since 2020 because the sub-$500 chairs just don't last long when you sit in them 9 hrs a day 5 days a week.
Yep, Chuck loves to tell us all how important he is, nothing new there. Fran loves getting her photos around the world too! It was actually a bit worse during COVID when they sat in their mansions to tell us how tough times were, when some of us, especially in India, are living paycheck to paycheck. The best one ever was when Kelly Kramer (CFO) retired and said she was going to spend time investing all her money. The ELT is so blind and cares less about employees!!! How long can a company like ours remain dysfunctional like this???
Patterson had a good Fran impersonation.
“I’m in Italy and you’re not. Hahahaha!”
But, but, the Splunk T-Shirts we get to hear about! And Buttercup! And endless AI hype(rshield)! And fancy offices in France! Surely those make up for this Dilbert-esque spectacle.
Yeah these meetings are getting really irritating. Definitely feel the same way about how they talk about their packed travel schedule meanwhile us poors, are doing more with less. No hiring, more work and no budget for promotions. But hey, Cisco is rated one of the best companies to work for bla bla bla /s.

Not great optics. Forget our travel ability, how about sellers earning a decent commission check?
Not to mention the small entourage that comes with him. Fran has been doing loads of travel too, Jeetu was in the UK the other day.
It’s awful all this travel they are doing whilst it’s a struggle for the average customer facing IC to even get a days expense agreed to meet and travel.
