Iowa WARN Notification 04/30/2024

The Iowa WARN notification just posted this morning. There were 40 souls given a 60-day notification from the Jordan Creek building in West Des Moines. That brings the total let go YTD to 132 in Iowa.

@1uir+1sktkqus, I think I am beginning to understand the real meaning of location strategy. It was all about relocating the US jobs to India.

So it’s not really a location strategy thing…Offshore away…

Parking at JC campus is still a $#!+show so they must not be booting too many people overall.

Thank you, OP!

132 might not seem like a lot, but WARN is only reporting laid-off employees who didn't receive the 60-day non-working period, i believe. So the numbers are likely much higher.

For example, i started my non-working period on 2/13, ended that period on 4/19 (dates were slightly off due to a clerical error - we got an extra week), and i do not show up in the Oregon WARN list.
