Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFA St Louis HQ

Why do they even have this site? No one goes into the office. It’s a ghost town.

The STL office is noticeably quieter than before COVID even on Wednesdays when most hybrid employees are in the office. The decline is largely due to the substantial reduction in staff numbers, particularly with the relocation of senior leaders to NYC. The office, primarily housing Wells Fargo Advisors employees, has seen a significant downsizing. While it's unlikely to be closed since it is the cheapest office space in the WF footprint it’s likely they will consolidate operations in the E and F buildings, which will make it feel much more crowded than once that happens.
