If I got an offer from wells in my severance period, the tenure will continue or you will start again

Per displacement package, you must return within 6 mo. of termination date (end of 60-day period) in order to preserve your tenure.
Notr: You can't return as contingent / contractor worker and then become FTE to count, either, since resting period is 6 mo. for contingent / contract work.
I believe tenure is only retained if you come back within 6 months.
