I applied for a role at Bose and got dinged earlier last week, but after perusing this forum I think it might've been a blessing in disguise. I really wanted it after first, but it sounds like the company culture at Bose is beyond repair. Did I dodge a potential red flag in my careeer?

In my long career (46yrs) Bose came in first for the wrong reasons. Total disdain for the worker’s on the manufacturing floor. I quit after 2 months.
At the very least, you dodged being laid off next year when your work is moved to a more cost-effective/diverse hiring location.
Everyone I know who’s left Bose comes back with some regularity to watch the unfolding mess. It’s somewhere between a morbid curiosity and Stockholm syndrome…
"Did I dodge a potential red flag in my careeer?"
You certainly dodged a bullet
It's like missing out on a ticket on the Titanic. Unless you enjoy working at functionally flat-lined corporate mental institutions. I don't know what corporate environment is healthy, productive, or logical in 2024. But, I know that Bose Corp is a textbook example of how not to do it, and where one definitely does not want to be.
Are you white male? - they aren't hiring them anymore under DEI unless you have a high pitched voice and wear a dress.
Trust me, it was a blessing. Count them as we get so few anymore.
No, you missed out and lost another job opportunity.
