D riding Olympic champs
Intel wasted about $200 Million on sponsoring the Olympics through 2024. This is them just running out the contract. Remember Intel debuting 5G at the 2018 Olympics? Or the LED drones with Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl? My guess is that Intel's "AI platform" is soon going to follow those flops in the dustbin of history.
The Olympics are not going to make any difference. Most people couldn’t care less and view it as a colossal waste of money. Everyone is supposed to be concerned about being green yet we have 2 global every 4 years that draw people from around the world to a single location to find out who can shoot the best from their cross country skis. Not to mention the resources wasted building the venues. The money and effort would be better spent rebuilding Ukraine and Gaza.
