But the stock is doing well. Hang on to it... Over the years as they run the company into the ground, the share price keeps going up and paying dividends. That's what the senior leadership wants since they benefit the most from it ...

Can’t say was told by HR to keep conversation between them as they were to notify more people but didn’t want them to know. US side, offshore probably not affected since they stated “financial” loss. Just keep in mind if your department got new hires that’s an alert that they’re going to drop those who are not performing. Lower level not higher ups like usual.
Sorry to hear of job loss, what location/role? Heard there might be something in the works.
