Some really bad PDCE attitudes abound in the RBU. They are in need of some Chevron Way leading self behavior training like what L_Noble folks had to go through.

Same thing happened when Chevron bought Texaco. Legacy Texaco people still felt they were Texaco years after the merger.

I think the employee survey will answer this question nicely…

It’s an absolute disaster. There’s a palpable animosity between LPDC and CVX employees, at least in Denver. Multiple PDC installed managers are trying to hold onto the their way of doing things and haven’t come to terms with the fact that they are no longer a smaller o&g. Teams are stretched beyond thin and moral is horrific.

Outside observer who works a lot with RBU here. PDCE is the problem, full stop. They still haven’t come to terms with the fact they’re chevron, and blame “Noble” for every short coming. They don’t seem to realize roughly half of the old RBU employees are Chevron. They act like old school O&G co, where they had kingdoms and throw fits when they don’t like something.

I have no horse in the race. Just calling it like I see it.

Re: PollEV, there were some that were just nasty and not even questions. Like one that just said "Noble su-ks". Grown people acting like children, so their toys get taken away

What were the questions asked that got the anonymous questions revoked during town hall?

Seems like some really shady, unethical business going on within the Chevron electrical and automation "good ol boys" club. I don't think they're smart enough for kickbacks, but the work execution feel super shady and the leaders don't appear to be very technically skilled to fulfill their roles. They seem untouchable though, regardless of the cover up work they do.

Dumpster fire. Cluster. Catastrophe.

The RBU operates as three separate entities, with no cohesion between groups and initiatives. Retention of Noble leadership has retained the boys club, so unless you're "in", you'll need to move elsewhere in Chevron (or externally). PDC ideas are bypassed, most teams operate in silos, and hotline calls aren't taken seriously. But, if you like wearing 8 hats to balance out MCBU's G&A costs, come on down!
