HR has the responsibility of hiring and vetting all employees. Some of the nitwits I work with probably couldn’t pass a simple cognitive test or dr-g lab test. Cmon HR what are you doing??? Is this to satisfy quotas?

I once had a sharp business owner explain it to me this way: A' hire A's or B's. B's hire B's and C's. And so on. So they only way to break the cycle is to not only get rid of the low performers, but to get A level employees in the management/hiring role.
It’s a domino effect at many companies. You hire one d-mb manager and he hires 5 d-mb employees. That manager gets promoted and hires 5 more dummies. Before you know it, there is a whole organization of dummies. Those dummies create woke policies and breed more dummies. Those new dummies get there dummy friends jobs. The cycle continues….
That’s why solid leadership is so important. Once you replace that with woke ideology over the number one reason you run a business (btw … that’s to make $$$) that’s what you have.
