Workplace at its inception in Chevron (2018?) was always intended to be a gated community, a fairy-tale land of happy and productive employees, with stories of 'innovative' employees (with MW bobble-heads on their desks) growing Chevron into the happiest oil company on earth. Instead it turned out to be a coven of yes-persons, brown-nosers, and high-pots seeking exposure and validation. Yes, @xsz, it will be replaced with something even more asinine.

Yes indeed. Nothing like a job where you get paid to "rest and unwind" all the time. In fact, that happens pretty much most of the alleged so-called "workday" for some. Gotta love it. I need a sweet gig like that. Also I need to WFH to be able to take naps and such at my own leisure. After all, "I get more work done at home", lmao! Sign me up!

Heaven forbid anyone take a bit of time to rest or un-wind during the work day. What about the time wasted in office with water cooler talk. I get far more done working at home than I ever did in office. The boomers need to get over the 1800s mentality towards work.

Not to worry, CA are working on solutions! The bro**-nosers will not give up their platform for self-promotion so easily.

Microsoft has an alternative called Viva Engage. It integrates into Teams.

Shutting it down because people can waste time remotely. Now they'll have to go back to puzzles in the cafes.

Waste of money from the start, well over a million a year. But layoffs covered the cost. MW should have to reimburse the company.

Where else is MW going to be able to Circle J with Crammer about the shareholders while gutting his employees?
