Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Has anyone visited a branch lately

Citi is a total cluster. Employees are ticked off, service levels are poor, everything must be done manually vs electronically, and the list goes on.

Not surprised Citi is imploding, they cant even get the most basic of retail banking services right.

Pretty much bad at every lone of business they are in!

As a long time employee I usually don't bank here. But I responded to an offer a while ago for high yield savings account. What a total nightmare! The whole process from start to finish was like dealing with a team of toddlers herding worms. I had to fight to get my money back. Continually being told I didn't meet the terms of the agreement when it was Citi who entered information incorrectly. It was clear that marketing rolled this out without any training or process to support it. I even tried internal channels and it wasn't until I escalated to my MD that things started to get resolved. I am sure a lot of consumers got sc--wed. No way I am banking here, I know how things are run. And it's going to get worse.
