As a sales rep I have officially mentally checked out. I continue to bust my a-s doing what my merchandisers should be doing and getting yelled at by my DM for what my ftow should be doing. Then I get yelled at by stores for what the ftow are doing or not doing. Then get sent globalwork for what people aren't doing. This job is stupid and I've realized I'm way too over qualified for this sh-t lol. I'm Out

PRDs are bought by the stores because they get a volume discount on the product. That's why they buy them and it seems there is no program for them on the floor.
Well, actually I am a FTOW. I feel I do way more than what I am suppose to do. I am a hard worker, I have pride in my work, and I want the stores to succeed, so I do a lot of little things, skip where I feel is wasted time, so maybe OP would say the same about me. Without the sales bonus, the job would not be worth it, so I will work on getting hutches out, though I did not order them and they eat up time in the store. It is d-mb to send in a PRD and have us work it to the shelf or display when I can just order the cases and save time, because the store never requested them or even knew they were coming.
Anyways, just checking if I am one of the FTOW not doing enough. Mine seem to feel I am doing great.
The person asking what flow aren’t doing,is obviously mgt, fishing for the truth, because nobody has the guts to speak the truth at sales rally , or meetings , you know they are constantly checking this site, because they are always reassuring us that dsd is here to stay .
The goal is to go to order writers only , eliminate cost , they know this is no longer a sales job , every chain follows a planner , and Walmart is hit or miss , depending on what mgr you have .

Don't even fret about all the shortcomings and negativity associated with what this has become ever since Mission 1. As speculated, this field will be taken over by immigrants and anyone that lacks the related work experience that our once devoted employees has.
