I have been seeing the same production engineer role for BTC getting reposted multiple times on LinkedIn. How many engineers are the recruiting?

Recruiting enough to replace all of the HC10 workforce. It takes more than one engineer at the BTC to replace a HC10 engineer.

@1kka+1t0Qgpuu you are spot on and look into Anti-trust laws!! Creating an environment of no ability to compete! Follow that one! Also, the US implemented a law that contractors in a Company position longer than X amount of time are required to release the contractor or make the position a Company position. Think MSP!! Work around? Yes! Loop holes have to be closed to protect Americans! Contact your representatives to close this loop hole asap!! Think AMERICAN !!!

Yes it would be entertaining because the US companies are so dependent on other countries for their work getting done, and the US employees just talking and bullying others at work.

Look at the performance of all American companies and industries over past 10 years.

Wouldn’t it be entertaining if the USA place labor sanctions on India for their support of Russia through increase in Russian oil purchases?

@1woi They’re engineers in title only (EITOs). Just like everywhere else at ExxonMobil.

That soapbox is going to break if you keep jumping up on it. Consider giving it a rest.

@OP It’s known as an “evergreen position” in recruiting parlance.

This means it’s a role that’s always open because of poor pay, poor working conditions, high turnover, or any combination thereof.

There is a Corporate Level steady underway to investigate what it would take for a 10,000 thousand person center in India, essentially to replace Houston campus.

Just in case you were still thinking they meant a life long career!
