Intel had discovered the root cause of the crashes to be an incorrect value in the microcode algorithm associated with the Enhanced Thermal Velocity Boost (eTVB) feature. This feature allows the processor to overclock its cores beyond the maximum turbo frequency when certain conditions are met.

Id--t company builds fabs, no products asks competitors to throw us orders, they laugh. Now can’t even report earnings correctly. Intel better invent something that’s requires vast amount of chips or the company gone to the highest bidder.
