So most of us still employed are now operating at skeletal level. People leaders from a Director level are now expecting everyone to work above and beyond their pay grade even though new reorg kept people who are dead weight.
If I am expected to work crazy hours and go above and beyond. I expect the same from ALL people leaders. The people leaders who like to preach the gospel only to leave early, “work from home days other than Friday”, or take trips when a email or a teams chat would have sufficed. I will still work hard but I need to see the same from our leaders. There are far too many “people leaders” who abuse and take advantage of their positions, while the IC carries the burden of keeping things running. I don’t understand why Sr management doesn’t see it. Too many supervisors/managers push off their responsibilities to the IC.
I am not naive I know we are going to be sold, but I am still committed to Crown to work hard because it’s just my work ethic. I don’t expect everyone to understand this.
