I think some id--t VPs advice people to accept low pay & compensation at Intel so they can have more bonus. Employees never want to be paid low. Agree?

This is not a good time to be on the job market. Unfortunately, it's an employers' market at the moment and you will have to compromise your pay when you change your job. There are many good engineers (off from Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta etc.) who are currently unemployed and actively seeking employment. So the employers have a great pool to choose from AND the luxury to pay low salaries. You need to ask yourself for how long you can continue burning your hard earned cash looking for a new job without compromising your salary expectations in the current climate after leaving Intel. That's the catch! If you are planning to make a move, time it carefully and wisely to your advantage. Do not make a rushed and uncalculated decision and make a foolish mistake by leaving before landing on a job you will be happy to move to. Also remember grass is not always green on the other side either. I have colleagues who recently moved to great jobs at NVIDIA, Apple, Samsung etc. recently, and in under 1 year of changing their job, they started to complain (exactly as they used to while at Intel) despite getting paid more money!
